Takoda`s in Blue River

I have been coming to Takodas for 10 years. It is my favorite place on the Mckenzie pass. They have consistently good pizza, sandwiches, and burgers. Great beer selection too! I haven't done breakfast or dinner here but I'm sure they are good as well. Restaurant is a nice big open building with a country lodge feel. The outdoor patio seating with water features and fish pond is great in the summer months. Staff and service is always great. I highly recommend you stop in!

Still my favorite restaurant in Oregon. Great food, great owners, great staff. Everytime I'm in the area I gotta go here.

It had really good food. I shared the BBQ wings with my mother. They had a really cute little gift shop. My only problem was that everything was over priced. I had bought a Chapstick for five dollars. Other than that,I really liked it,and recommend eating there again.

Good food, friendly place to eat.

A great spot to stop after the day on the reservoir. Their outdoor seating area is charming and whimsical with a few areas for the kids to explore. They had lots of beer to choose from and the food was tasty and fresh. Don't forget to go inside and check out their gift shop, they have somany cute and useful trinkets!

Not what I expected from the road. It is quaint and kitchy with a good menu of food prepared very well. Very clean and comfortable. We didn't sit outside but it looked lovely. Don't miss the gift shop upstairs. Lots of locally mad items. I took home a string of birds.

It was very good and it was clean, and they were very pandemic responsible.

Heavenly delicious. Everything is perfect, but I can't get over the French fry pulled pork nachos. Great service, too.

Great place to have a meal reasonable price and excellent service and food

Pretty outside seating and they are ok with dogs! Nice and cool on a hot day. Our server was friendly and fast. We enjoyed their Strawberry Lemonade Vodka drinks. Will be back♡

A really nice pizza menu. They are not seduced by “the chince” when topping your pizza, ample toppings. Nice salad bar as well. Good atmosphere and a really different gift shop with unique things not found elsewhere. Worth the stop.

Get there early if you want breakfast, get there late and you’ll have lunch!

Wonderful restaurant with a beautiful outdoor patio. The food was excellent, the service was first rate. We hope to return again soon.

Food is so good here. I have eaten 20+ different items on the menu. It's all good. The salad bar and pizza are really good.

Loves the outside seating. We stopped in the way back from clear lake and were pleasantly surprised. The food and service were great and an ice cold beer on tap on a hot day hit the spot.

Love this place and the food and service is wonderful.

Absolutely loved all our meals here. We ordered Albacore Tuna Melt Sandwich which had Tillamook smoked cheddar cheese for dinner and Walnut Apple Salad for lunch. The sandwich and the salad was delicious. This restaurant is run by a local family and the customer service was excellent and quick. 100% recommend it if you are near McKenzie Highway in Willamette National Forest.

Wonderful atmosphere and the food was wonderful. Took a little time to get the food out but definitely worth the wait. Artwork should definitely be browsed.

Such a great location. Friendly staff and delicious food. We use this as a 'half day's meet up for family every year and love the time we have there!

We sat outside which I would really recommend. They have a cute patio outside when the weather is warm. The food was really good as well. The ribs were to die for. I had the chicken special which was full of flavor and juicy. Our waitress Taya was warm, bubbly and very friendly. I will definitely be coming back again

I loved the ambiance here. All the cute little knick knacks and the randomness of it. Pizza and beer were good. Pizza had a nice crust to it. Crisp but not too crisp.

Amazing food and great service! Obsessed with their tots, perfectly crispy fries, and juicy burgers! The chef deserves a raise!! Whether you're on a road trip or just passing by, you won't regret stopping for a bite! Super cute gift shop too!

Nice atmosphere, pleasant and efficient staff even with what's going on right now, did pretty good job all now.

This is a little gem on the McKenzie River. They have the best food for the dollar. The pizza was off the hook. They really could advertise that alone but they have a full salad bar, great sandwiches and meals. Friendly and fast service. I highly recommend.

Chicken with marionberry cream... delicious. Their asparagus was grilled and the apple cranberry slaw was really good.

Nice outside patio friendly staff and good food

They let us hang and stay warm while my car was getting repaired for about 6.5 hours. Thanks for being so welcoming. Beer and pizza was good. Glad we got dropped off here, next time might only stay for an hour or two though..

At their entrance for 45 seconds, two people without masks in the restaurant ( one leaving, another entering) and no challenge. So very disappointed.

Good food, but a bit of a wait although it may have been a larger crowd than normal for a Wednesday.

Best food in the area! Beautiful outside seating area in the backyard. Their potato wedges/pulled pork appetizer is to die for. They also have a tiny video casino there. A very nice spot!

We sat outside on the patio with the waterfall/pond and flowers. We enjoyed a prime rib dip. The fries were batter dipped and amazing. Great place!!! Awesome food!!!!

Really good bison burger. Friendly and helpful staff. This is tge restaurant with the biggest menu selection in a 10 mile radius. But it is a good restaurant. They have micro brews, a patio, and a gift shop. Recommended!

This place is incredible. My husband had an elk burger said it was the best one he had ever eaten

Great destination for a motorcycle ride

As always a wonderful meal! My husband and I have been coming here since 2016. It's a wonderful place to stop on our Sunday drives during this time of year. The food is wonderful and the service is even better :)

Excellent place for lunch, probably dinner too. Had the tuna melt, fantastic, fresh tasting albacore. Tater tots are crispy. We ate outside with our dog, they have a patio entrance for dog people. Killer beer selection on tap and a full bar. Wife had a 'purple haze' vodka drink that was good too.

We had a great dining experience, thank you! We were out for an adventuring drive from Eugene. Stopped in for bite of food. Alexa, our wait person was great! The other staff members were very good, also! All the social distancing rules were adhered to, all the time we were there , even outside. The 🐃 buffalo bergers were fantastic. Steak fries were my favorite, over her house french 🍟 fries. We ate them all! (Both)The iced tea was very good! Please continue to serve iced tea in glass, and not plastic tumblers. Thanks for your great food and service. Yes, we will return!

They make a great in-house veggie burger that I will be getting again. They also customized a pizza for my unrealistic dietary-restriction expectations. Regardless of my personal “beef” with beef (pun intended) this establishment went above and beyond to accommodate me. For that reason I had to write a review and I highly recommend. Thank you 🙏🏻

We both thoroughly enjoyed our Reuben sandwiches. My spouse enjoyed his soup. Fries are not exceptional. Server was attdntive. Of course, the drive up the Mckenzie was delightful.
